HAZELRIGG looks capable of landing this prize if there's some cut in the ground whilst Amazing Tiger and Ancient Cross could also feature. The selection was well regarded at the start of his career but never really lived up to expectations on the track having won his maiden impressively on debut. The handicapper's grip hasn't relented in spite of that but he posted a more encouraging effort when staying on over six in first time cheekpieces at Wolverhampton and could be poised to strike over this longer trip if he gets his ground. Ancient Cross put a frustrating sequence behind him to win his penultimate start before running well in defeat at Leicester and is capable of making his presence felt if in the same vein of form. Amazing Tiger may be ridden more prominently as he drops in trip following a more encouraging run at Lingfield and he has relatively few miles on the clock and can feature for the track's top trainer. Ishiadancer has been a relatively consistent performer and hasn't had much racing this year whilst Capucci enjoyed a confidence boosting win in a Wolverhampton claimer and both may figure but Hazelrigg is preferred.
