        Verdict

        Fenners looks thrown in on official ratings here and gets the vote ahead of Beauchamp Unique and Regency Red. The selection is rated in the 70s, far in excess of anything else here and has his first run following a change of scenery from the Mark Johnston's yard. Clearly the fact that he has made that move means that we are not over confident here, but he showed enough until being heavily eased when beaten at Ripon last week to suggest that his class can get him home in front here. Beauchamp Unique looks the danger and is another much better off than he would be in handicap company. He also has only been tried at this trip once before but should be good enough to get heavily involved here on ground he appreciates. Regency Red is fresh after a decent break and has won over the trip. However, he has tended to need a couple of runs before hitting peak fitness and so he is opposed in favour of Fenners, who is given another chance.
