    Verdict

Mark Johnston has a reasonable chance of completing a hat-trick with his first three runners as Mambo Rhythm has completed a double already this month. However, she's up another 8lb for her Chester victory and faces stiff competition. Mighty Missile was beaten a head over 1m4f at Ripon then half-a-length when stepped up to 2m on the same track. This should be his optimum trip though he didn't please everyone with his attitude last time. Crakehall Lad has improved out of all recognition since stepped up to this trip and landed a minor Redcar handicap last time. He'll need to make further progress but looks capable of doing so and go close. Exclusive Contract disappointed at Ripon last time and Istimraar hasn't been running well over hurdles so it's SCRAFTON, who made a successful handicap debut over 2m at Newcastle, who should make enough progress to take this from the bottom of the handicap.
