In depth

Verdict

Le Milos landed a Kelso novices' hurdle in September and had little chance in a better race than this at Cheltenham last time. MINELLA TRUMP easily won a point in March and went for £90,000 at the sales, which looked money well spent when impressing in both starts over timber. He faces stronger opposition here but looks on a low enough mark to remain unbeaten. Ahead of The Curve bounced back to form with a very good run at Kelso and remains on the same mark while the veteran Trapper Peak completed a four-timer last year, though in lesser company than this. Annsam was stepping up to this trip for the first time when scoring at this level at Taunton and, though 5lb higher, is progressing fast enough to ensure the selection has a race.
