        Verdict

        Irish raider Tio Esteban won at Wolverhampton at the end of last year but was well beaten back at the latter track just two days ago. Garth Rockett completed a double in November, including a course and distance success, and is only 2lb higher but KRAKA gets another chance in this opener. Christine Dunnett’s charge was winning off a higher mark here last year and a recent second at Southwell under today’s apprentice suggests a return to winning ways is imminent. Velvet Morn and Fard have something to prove over this far and Mont Kiara is preferred over today’s trip.
