    Verdict

    VICTORY BOND struggled in a tough Listed contest here last time but won in this grade before that when beating Pactolus over track and trip. A line through the latter gives William Haggas’ charge the beating of Felix and he’s taken to come out best in this. The latter showed further progress when scoring at Wolverhampton on Boxing Day with the re-opposing Star Of Southwold behind but Singing Sheriff faces much tougher opposition raised 8lb for winning easily at the same track recently.
