Verdict

It’s been sometime since Padleyourowncanoe competed on the Flat but he has won over hurdles and fences for Colin Tizzard subsequently and may well be ahead of the handicapper under this code. But Tony Carroll’s yard remains in fine form and the unexposed SOCIAL CITY (NAP) scored over 1m6f at Chelmsford earlier in the month when beating both Mr Fox and Homesick Boy. He should stay this longer trip on that evidence and go close again raised 4lb. Cape Agulhas is another upped in distance looking for his first win but ran only two days ago while Sweet Nature has yet to land a handicap, though went close to doing so over track and trip last time. Amanto won over course and distance back in 2017 and has been placed over today’s trip recently.
