        Verdict

        Most of these will have to start showing something pretty soon before they slip into obscurity but Countrywide Flyer has at least hinted that there is a race in him somewhere along the line and he is just preferred over Gone To Ground, and White Star Princess - although a move for Menacing Rio could also prove to be significant. However, Countrywide Flyer showed up well before tiring in the closing stages last time and a repeat effort will see him go close today. He does not have too much to find in this company and could put a seal on a poor race with John Carroll booked for the ride.
