Verdict

Winning point-to-pointer Pinch Of Ginger fell on his chasing debut then got the race in the stewards' room after dead-heating in a Bangor handicap. He's only been raised 3lb so should get involved again but the concession of 15lb to RONNIE LAWSON may prove beyond him. Tim Vaughan's charge was unbeaten in three point-to-points in Ireland and though he's taken some time to find his feet under Rules he only just failed to make all under a big weight at Southwell last time and can go one better. So Satisfied has gradually dropped to a mark he should be winning from though could have done without a 2lb rise for last week's second at Musselburgh while last year's winner Major Ridge has been struggling badly.
