    Verdict

A poor contest that should boil down to a match between Titchfield and Lakatoi. The former has claims on his best form when a close second behind the useful L'Evangile at Nottingham and had Lakatoi behind when last seen out at Haydock. However, the ground may have been against the Barry Hills-trained filly on that occasion and she can gain compensation after being caught close home at Beverley earlier in the month.
