Verdict
A competitive field goes to post for this handicap in which many can be given chances on their best form. Kristensen was a good second behind Sashay on the AW last time out, and if he reproduces that effort back on turf he will be hard to beat. Fatehalkhair would win if this contest was run at Sedgefield. However he is readily passed over as he has never won anywhere else. Virgin Soldier is from a yard in top form, he is proven in the conditions and he has definite place claims despite top weight. Aleron is a course and distance winner and is on a fair mark but his best form has come with cut in the ground. Litany was in good form at the end of last season. However he has never won off a mark this high or over a distance this far. Of the remainder Critical Stage has been in fair form on the AW and he has definite place claims off this lower mark on his return to turf.
