Verdict
A poor race to open the card. And it may be best left to to Demi Bouteille, who he has slightly more scope to make an impact at this trip than Burkees Graw, Gone To Ground and Bridegwater Boys. The Linda Ramsden-trained filly shaped as if the step up in trip was required when running on into fourth behind A Bid In Time at Beverley last time. And she would not need to better that effort by much to get off the mark here. Burkees Graw, who was the subject of quite a gamble on her debut here in April, should also improve for the step up in trip. But she has failed to deliver on the promise she showed on that occasion in two subsequent outings, and she has a little to prove now. Gone To Ground also has scope for improvement but was well held in a very weak affair last time, so Bridgewater Boys, who put in a fair effort behind a well backed hot pot of Mick Channon's last time, could give the selection the most to do.
