Verdict
An interesting little contest where cases can be made for at least a handful, but Shebeen should strip a lot fitter for this after her reappearance effort at Salisbury and she is just preferred to Penny Cross, My Daisychain and the once-raced Yamola. The Henry Candy-trained filly showed a useful turn of foot on her handicap debut and, although she should get further in time, she can take an event like this before going on to better things. Penny Cross, a half-sister to Priors Lodge, hails from a yard that are now firing on all cylinders and she too has to be considered after a couple of pipe-openers earlier in the month. She too should be seen to better effect when upped in trip though. Yamola is probably the least exposed runner in the field and a move for her will be interesting, whilst My Daisychain looks to be the Mark Johnston team's second string.
