In depth

Verdict

Bronze Dancer is only 1lb higher than when scoring here when last seen in August but Alan Swinbank's gelding has all of his best form on a faster surface so he may be best watched and preference is for Pee Jay's Dream, who gets the vote ahead of Mighty Moon. The last mentioned is less exposed than most of his rivals and has won the only time that he has encountered a softer surface, although that was on good to soft ground and not as testing as today. Charlotte Vale has not won for some time, while Epicurean has yet to prove her effectiveness over this far. The same cannot be said of Pee Jay's Dream, who is a consistent performer, handles cut in the ground well and comes from a yard that has had a few winners of late.
