        Verdict

        GLENDEVON (NAP) has the strongest recent form when beaten less than a length in a conditions race over track and trip by the 102-rated Archetype. Richard Hughes’ charge may well come out best today with a similar effort. The Emperor Within won over a mile at Sandown before well beaten in Listed company and Mount Tahan’s victory at Wolverhampton back in March came over 1m4f. Primero made a belated reappearance at York last month and can finish closer but the remainder have all been struggling form with Mushtaq attempting this longer trip for the first time.
