Verdict
Captain Lars came up short over 6f here a couple of days ago and an apprentice takes over the reins today. Red Alert scored over 6f at Lingfield back in October and this is tougher but both Come On Dave and September Issue won their penultimate starts over the minimum trip. Penny Dreadful was runner-up in a lower grade sprint last week but DASCHAS has started favourite and placed in both starts since returning to action and it could be the turn of Stuart Williams’ charge today.
