Verdict

The Brothers has claims in this if reproducing his third at Lingfield on this better ground. Sir Egbert is one of several in this making his handicap debut so warrants consideration. The four-year-olds Level Of Intensity and King Cnut are others but we’ll take a chance on the latter’s stablemate MELLOW BEN, who has been keeping decent company in maidens and didn’t handle the mud last time at Fontwell. Shining Romeo, Templier and November’s Taunton winner Tobacco Road are others who could figure an open-looking handicap.
