Verdict
BRANDON HILL failed to quicken when third over this track and trip last time but had been a solid second off this mark at Ascot before that and is the one to beat again. Ask The Weatherman took his chance in the Welsh Grand National after winning at Exeter but weakened quickly on the final circuit and was pulled up. A drop back to 3m should help and Bigbadjohn is also back in the right grade, though is hard to catch right. Champagne At Tara will have needed his run at Ludlow but has shown his best form over shorter trips.
