Verdict

Ok Corral didn’t do a lot wrong when returning from a break at Newbury as he was trying to give 6lb to a well-regarded stablemate and the first two pulled well clear. Run To Milan justified favouritism at Exeter five weeks ago but the second has been well beaten since. Fontwell winner Chosen Path is easily the pick of Alan King’s three runners as he was hampered when unseating his rider next time at Exeter but GET OUT OF THE GATE might improve past all the previous winners. The Nicholls’ team is clicking into gear and the five-year-old will have come on a bundle for his run behind Ainchea at Sandown in December.
