Verdict

BROKEN QUEST (NAP) beat a big field in a novices’ handicap at Huntingdon and this course is similar in nature. A follow-up may be on the cards, despite a 7lb rise. Cornish Warrior looked to be coming to hand at Fakenham and has each-way claims and a case can also be made for Smart Boy, not disgraced off higher marks after taking advantage of an easy opportunity at Plumpton in October. Fly Du Charmil is interesting as he’s been lightly raced and is sure to improve for a run at Newbury in the autumn but Fresh New Dawn hasn’t been getting any closer to a first victory.
