Verdict
Margub made all for a comfortable victory at Wolverhampton on his return but has been rewarded with a 10lb hike in the weights. He may still figure upped in class but RAUCOUS is proven at this level having gone close the last twice now and Bob Cowell’s charge gets another chance today having finished in front of Breathless Times at Lingfield last time. Victory Wave was beaten less than a length in a blanket finish at Kempton last month and returns to this longer trip while Masham Star makes a quick reappearance having placed over a mile at Windsor earlier this week but Al Barg faces a tough task in this higher grade.
