      Verdict

      Island Of Life did herself no favours with a slow start at Wolverhampton and just failed to haul in the first two home. She can reverse running with runner-up Captain Lars if quickly away today but others have stronger form. Verne Castle is not quite back to his best though still finished in front of Dynamo Walt here last week while Bosham remains 6lb higher than his earlier course and distance success. But BOOM THE GROOM (NAP) is looking to exploit a slide down the weights and it could be his turn today as drops back down in class.
