        Verdict

        SWISS CROSS was winning off much higher marks last year and a return to winning ways looks imminent having gone close when third over track and trip last time. He is preferred to Best Example, who drops back in distance for his first start of the year, while Gold Beau is upped in class having won at Hamilton last month. Under Siege was expected to do better at Epsom last time and Pennine Warrior makes more appeal in this lower grade.
