      Verdict

      BOYNTON may prove good enough despite making a belated seasonal debut. Last year’s Group 2 Superlative Stakes winner was placed in the Vintage Stakes at Goodwood when last in action and is clear of the rest on these terms. None of today’s opposition arrive in particularly good form but Red Verdon was placed in a conditions race at Doncaster before a poor effort last time. Victory Bond failed to give his running in heavy ground at Haydock recently and Murad Khan came up short in Listed company last month while Ickymasho and Zumurudee have plenty to find at the weights.
