    Verdict

    This looks tricky with no guarantee of a decent pace. Rock Eagle could only manage third in a handicap at Kempton last time though beat Lucky Deal by four lengths at the same track back in November. The latter went on to complete a double on the all-weather but a chance is taken on the returning RANCH HAND. Andrew Balding’s charge ended last year with a couple of spins over hurdles but won a Listed race over 2m at Newmarket when last on the Flat so edges this at the weights.
