        Verdict

        Rated 89, Fares Kodiac should be bang there at the finish but is penalised for an earlier debut success at Windsor and finished just behind BRANDY SPIRIT in a conditions race at Newcastle recently. The latter never threatened the winner when staying on for third but showed enough to suggest he can win at this level. Grandstand has a bit to find with the above pair on these terms while Regular drops down in trip after a couple of decent efforts over 7f. The newcomer Turquoise Friendly is bred for further and will also need to be above average to make a winning start.
