Verdict

Guvenor's Choice won twice over shorter trips at Wolverhampton last year and recent placed efforts suggest he could go well but Mainsail Atlantic was still beaten a long way when runner-up in maiden company over track and trip last month. Pheidippides and Pearl Spectre have placed over a mile here this year while King Of The Sand’s earlier success came over the same distance at Brighton. ANGELINA D’OR faded badly in the closing stages last month but that was her first outing since June when third over course and distance. She can race off a lower mark today and may prove good enough in a tricky contest.
