In depth

Verdict

There was little between third-placed Glory Awaits and Sir Hamilton over track and trip last time though both finished well ahead of Executive Force. The Warrior went close at Kempton the last time he raced on the all-weather but Black Bess has done all her winning on Turf so far. Cape Icon may be watched on his return to action but FASTAR (NAP) wasn’t beaten far despite finishing only sixth in Class 2 company at Newcastle last time and Brian Meehan’s charge gets the vote back at this level.
