      MELBOURNE SHUFFLE was only beaten a head at Lingfield last time with today's rival Simple Elegance nearly a length back in third. It's likely to prove a close run thing again but the Gosden filly may just prevail. Madam Midnight finished well ahead of Snow Pearl when third at Wolverhampton while stablemate and newcomer Falcon's Song is related to a Group 2 winner and preferred to fellow debutante Cafe Caprice.
