    Verdict

    The unbeaten MONEIN may prove best of these. He followed up a maiden win with a defeat of subsequent winning stablemate Austin Friars on his handicap debut at Wolverhampton and can defy a 6lb rise. Atwix made a winning start at Lingfield while Gentlemusic is only upped 6lb for scoring over a mile here last time and both have a fitness advantage over Rocky Rider, who won a maiden race at Windsor in October. Gabrial The Viking also returns to action having run well in a decent nursery at Ayr in September.
