      Verdict

      The betting suggested CONCORDE would leave last year’s form behind on his reappearance and handicap debut and he duly returned an easy winner at Redcar earlier in the week. He’ll likely be raised by much more than today’s penalty and can strike again in this moderate company. My Roxanne is upped in trip after a better effort at Lingfield while Twilight Kiss will appreciate this return to a mile. Dame Laura Knight and Take My Breath make their handicap debuts.
