Though a pound out of the handicap, Neptune Star is closely matched with fellow northern raider Bollin Ted on Beverley running. Gunner Moyne has won twice around here but has not been in the best of form lately. Unonothinjonsnow has place claims again but TOMMY’S SECRET was backed to return to winning ways here last month and only found one too good. Jane Chapple-Hyam’s grey is on a very lenient mark nowadays and runs his best races here so gets the nod.
