In depth

Verdict

Quloob has won over hurdles since finishing runner-up over 1m6f at Newmarket but True Destiny had an easier task when finishing second at Wolverhampton recently. Pianissimo was still well beaten when finding only one too good at Kempton earlier but Pleasure Garden has shown progressive form in lower grade contests and headgear is applied having won at Chepstow last time. The 1m4f winner Caledonian Crusade looks a threat if lasting home but AUSTRALIS (NAP) returns to the all-weather for the first time since finishing runner-up in the Northumberland Plate at Newcastle and Roger Varian’s charge can return to winning ways.
