Verdict
Plenty of exposed chasers here for the amateurs to ride and we'll take FLORIDA DREAM to see off Beauchamp Prince and Keepitsecret. The selection has won when fresh in the past and comes here after a six month break, while the Nigel Twiston-Davies team is firing pretty well. Florida Dream, a full brother to the brilliant Florida Pearl, drops back to a more suitable trip here and is also back on a mark from which he won over hurdles, so there is reason to believe we can catch him right today. Beauchamp Prince was a Newton Abbot scorer last time and has gone up 9lb for that staying success. This ground suits and he looks sure to go well again. Keepitsecret won a couple of chases over similar trips in the summer but a 13lb rise and the drop back in trip did not help his cause last time. His mark remains the same here, but the return to three miles will be a positive. Gaora Lane would probably prefer some cut to be seen to best effect, but he can still get competitive from top weight. Baodai has conditions and trip to suit but just looks a shade too high in the weights, while River Indus is in good form and also has ground to suit, so he would have every chance of making the frame again from his current rating. However, we'll take Florida Dream to get it right today.
