        In depth

        Verdict

        Many in this finale have absences of note to overcome and although LAC SACRE has been called some names in his time, he does make some appeal here off an extremely lowly mark. Admittedly, he's shown little or nothing in five starts on the Flat but has been in decent nick over timber, including the last twice since joining John Flint. Hopefully that improvement can be transferred to the level. Slipper Satin should be straight enough from hurdling for this seasonal reappearance on the Flat and is very much respected, although he has yet to fully confirm his ability to see out this trip. Zarosa and Noor Al Haya are also worth noting.
