Verdict

BUN DORAN had little to beat in a Necarne point-to-point in May but was impressive and has a cracking pedigree. He shouldn't be far away so gets the vote, though Preseli Rock is almost certain to be thereabouts again given he's already been placed over track and trip and was only beaten a head at Bangor in February. Desert Retreat only found one too good over course and distance on his debut in September and Lime Street and Minella Charmer are others to have shown promise. The Draconian may be best of the newcomers and Sir Will has been carrying his penalty with distinction since winning at Naas in January and could make the frame again.
