    Verdict

High Ridge made an encouraging reappearance to action when a length third behind a rejuvenated Pulse at Warwick over five furlongs and can improve for the return to six furlongs in a race where stablemate Full Spate and Mister Mal rate the main dangers. The selection should not mind the conditions and has the benefit of what looks to be a favourable draw in stall 13. Stablemate Full Spate showed that his turn may not be far away when chasing home Willhewiz at Bath last time and has to be respected although he could be better berthed. Toberogan is 6lbs higher than when scoring at Cork last time but cannot be discounted from his stands side draw along with Paul Howling's Blue Knight, for who the booking of Jamie Spencer takes the eye. Royal Cozyfire is less exposed than his rivals after just two career starts and is another worthy of mention although a bigger threat is likely to come from Mister Mal, who made the most of a favourable draw at Ripon last time and has not been harshly punished having gone up just 4lbs for that success. High Ridge holds solid claims though and he gets the vote.
