In depth

Verdict

There are another three Llewellyn runners in the second division of this stayers’ handicap but Kashgar and L Frank Baum head the weights. However, Petrify won over 1m4f at Bath on Monday and must have every chance of defying a penalty if he stays. SIGURD (NAP) has not reached the frame in seven starts on the Flat but has been making good progress over hurdles since the turn of the year, winning over 2m4f at Market Rasen last month. He might just be a late developer and he gets in here on a plater’s mark.
