Verdict

MADNESS LIGHT has only won over hurdles in this country but did win over fences in France last year. He wasn't good enough when stepped up in grade in the spring but could outclass this lot if fully wound-up and he has plenty of scope. Lord Protector's second at Exeter hinted at more to come and Tolkeins Tango won at that track last month, though was well beaten at Newbury last week. The Bear Trap doesn't find much off the bridle but Anay Turge is starting to look well treated and makes more appeal than Ffos Las scorer Humbel Ben.
