Awaywiththegreys is back on the same mark as when scoring over course and distance just under a year ago and Sean Bowen takes off a further 7lb. He's preferred to stablemate Buachaill Alainn, who lacks a recent run. Bygones Sovereign is only a pound higher than when winning over 2m6f at Ascot last season but recent form has been disappointing, though he's another with a 7lb claimer on board. Audacious Plan was raised 10lb after winning at Ffos Las but looks a strong staying type with a willing attitude and Paul Townend is sure to give him every chance of doubling his tally. But GETON XMOOR (NAP) beat a subsequent winner at Worcester in the spring and has to be the selection after a fair fourth over a trip too short here last month.
