Verdict
Richard Hannon's juveniles have been in irresistible form lately, which makes Golden Acer very hard to ignore here. Supercast has done very little wrong so far and is expected to pose the selection the biggest threat. However, he will do well to concede 2lb to Hannon's charge at this stage and it will take an improved effort from him to score again. Milton's Choice has plenty to find after his modest start at Nottingham. The ground is expected to be a lot faster than he encountered there and he steps into the unknown regarding his ability to handle the undulating nature of the course. Bowlander cost 800gns and is obviously no world-beater on pedigree. He is best left alone this time. Therefore, with all things considered, this appears to be a solid opportunity for Golden Acer to enhance his profile before moving on to better things.
