Verdict

Proschema was only fifth in this last year and is a pound worse off with runner-up Didtheyleaveuoutto. West To The Bridge rattled up a four-timer at the start of the year but is probably back in the handicapper’s grip now. Zabeel Champion tries a new trip but Lord Baddesley was travelling strongly when falling at Plumpton in April in the race won by Bourbali and is 10lb better off with the winner. Masters Legacy represents last year’s winning yard and Unanswered Prayers still has untapped potential but we’ll take the chance that a wind operation has worked the oracle with BROOMFIELD BURG as he was just beaten off this mark at Cheltenham last year and is due a change of luck in handicaps. Knappers Hill won at this meeting on his reappearance last year and at Newton Abbot and Sandown in April but didn’t appear to stay tried over 2m4f earlier.
