In depth

Verdict

Newnham, Dream Valley and Dune Raider look the three to concentrate on in this contest and the confident vote goes to Newnham. The selection was a fair fourth in a better looking maiden behind Day of Reckoning last time and need only reproduce that effort to score. Dream Valley rates the main danger on her best form but ran as if this trip was to far for her when well behind Abington Flyer last time so can not be backed with any confidence. Dune River is from a yard in top form and is bred to appreciate this longer trip so he is worth noting in the market but he will need to improve to defeat the selection. The remainder have shown very little and are readily opposed and for the winner we return to Newnham.
