In depth

Verdict

What-A-Dancer is taken to score in this claimer, with A One, Tally and Zafarshah the others to form the shortlist. The selection usually reserves his best form for the all-weather, but he gained his first success on the turf in almost two seasons when beating Divinsky at Brighton last time and if he can run up to that level again here then he should take plenty of beating. A One is a course and distance winner but he has been tried over a variety of trips of late and has been running below-par. However, he did hit the winning trail at this time last season and with the drop to 7f sure to suit he could go well. Tally has been in fair form of late and he could have place prospects, while Zafarshah will be suited by the drop in class and he did win a weak handicap here last month, so he is another to consider. However, What-A-Dancer won well last time and there is no reason why he can't get his head in front again today.
