Verdict

The market should tell us plenty about both divisions of this bumper. Stokes was a surprise winner at Wolverhampton earlier in the year but his penalty is cancelled by his rider’s claim. KNAPPERS HILL is out of a versatile mare who won a Grade 2 over timber. She has already produced winners on the Flat and over obstacles and the Nicholls’ newcomer will likely know what’s required. Freezing Point has joined Dan Skelton since winning a maiden point in January and City Derby has a decent pedigree. Investment Manager and the once-raced Off The Planet are others to consider.
