Verdict

STRIKE SHOT is thought good enough to follow up on his recent Haydock success at the expense of Sir Parky and Daniella de Bruijn. The selection improved from his debut at Lingfield to win well at Haydock last time out. He was well supported that day backed from 11/1 into 5/1 and if he can recapture that same level of form he will prove difficult to beat once again. Sir Parky improved for race experience when winning at even money favourite at Salisbury last month. This race looks a little more competitive so further improvement will be needed. Daniella de Bruijn comes from a yard bang in form at present and she got her head in front at the third time of asking at Haydock last time out. She gets the fillies allowance and now the penny has dropped she is very much respected and should be monitored in the betting market. Strike Shot looked very impressive when scoring recently; he looks well in at the weights and should prove difficult to beat.
