In depth

Verdict

ROGANSTOWN could prove too hot for this opposition and is fancied to get the better of Quick Fix and Prince Geeno. He has failed to build on his promising debut in a Uttoxeter bumper in October with his latest effort particularly disappointing. He was far too keen on that occasion though and is worth another chance given the paucity of the opposition providing that he's not sent off at a cramped price. Prince Geeno ran in the Cheltenham bumper for this yard in 2008 following a victory on debut for Willie Mullins but he hasn't got near that level of form in three runs for the Pipes and has it all to prove. Quick Fix is dropped a mile in trip having failed to figure in two runs at Southwell but it remains to be seen whether that will bring about any improvement in the end result. That trio may not have excelled but they have more to commend them than the remainder; Roganstown may be able to step up to the plate.
