Verdict

The Daley Express has won two of his last three and is bidding to give the Ron Harris yard back-to-back victories in this. But he does have a penalty to overcome and is now much worse off at the weights than when beaten by Major Valentine at Ffos Las in July. Clear Spring hasn’t been beaten far in recent runs but is clearly not the force of old. GORING (NAP) is back on the same mark as when successful over 7f here in June. He’s just as effective over this distance and first-time cheekpieces can help the five-year-old back into the winner’s enclosure.
