        Verdict

        LIFEBOAT hasn’t raced since finishing runner-up at Salisbury in June. But he finished clear of a subsequent winner on that occasion so Charlie Hills’ colt is just preferred to Hateya. The latter was narrowly beaten over track and trip last month and can confirm running with King Athelstan in this while Brighton third King Of The Sand makes more appeal than Hollydaze, Port Of Call and the newcomer Dukeofwallingford.
