In depth
Verdict
Alicia Darcy wasn’t disgraced against older horse last time at Windsor and Kate Leahy takes off 7lb, but there are going concerns. Pass The Gin had the best of the draw when winning at Chester and didn’t fare as well drawn wide at Goodwood next time. MOTAGALLY ran over 7f on his first start since being gelded but this may be his best trip. Quite well regarded last season, he can get back to winning ways ahead of last month’s Leicester winner Gambon and the inconsistent Cool Reflection.
